Will Flemming, Sean McDonough and Mike Monaco, along with Will Middlebrooks, Lou Merloni, Lenny DiNardo Rob Bradford, Cooper Boardman and Joe Weil, will bring you all the action from the broadcast booth all season long.

WILL FLEMMING
has been a part of the WEEI Red Sox Radio Network since 2019, taking over as the lead Sox play-by-play voice following Hall-of Famer Joe Castiglione’s retirement in 2024 (after Joe’s historic 42-year run!). Prior to WEEI, Will worked for four seasons as the play-by-play announcer for the Pawtucket Red Sox, following stints in Indianapolis, DC and Lancaster. A 2002 Stanford graduate, Will collected a wealth of broadcasting experience working with CBS and ESPN calling hockey and college sports. Will’s older brother Dave Flemming is a fellow baseball play-by-play voice with the San Francisco Giants.

SEAN MCDONOUGH
a Hingham, MA native, is a nationally renowned and Emmy Award-winning broadcaster who is a leading play-by-play commentator for ESPN/ABC calling NHL, college football and basketball games in addition to the PGA Championship and the annual Par 3 Contest at The Masters. McDonough has covered the World Series, NCAA Final Four, the Olympic Games, Monday Night Football and all four major golf championships, among other marquee events during his accomplished career. Sean served as the television play-by-play announcer for the Red Sox from 1988-2004 and is now in his eighth season back calling Sox games with WEEI.

MIKE MONACO
is a play-by-play voice for ESPN, NESN and WEEI. The Notre Dame graduate was born and raised in Cohasset, Mass, and has rapidly ascended in the media world as a top announcer across multiple sports. Monaco formerly paired with Flemming in 2017-2019 with the Pawtucket Red Sox.

WILL MIDDLEBROOKS
played three seasons for the Sox from 2012 through 2014 – winning a World Championship in 2013 – before making stops in San Diego, Milwaukee and Texas. The Greenville, Texas, native entered the media world after his 2019 retirement and has done work for ESPN, CBS, and NESN. Middlebrooks joined WEEI’s radio team in 2025.

LOU MERLONI
the pride of Framingham, MA, enjoyed a 10-year MLB career that included a six-year stint with the Red Sox. Merloni was one of the top utility players in the Sox organization, having the ability to play multiple positions well. Merloni is a main Red Sox voice with NESN on the television side, with former TV experience at NBC Sports Boston; he first joined WEEI in 2008 and has hosted talk shows in both midday and afternoon drive.

LENNY DINARDO
is a 2004 Red Sox World Series Champion who pitched for five MLB seasons, including stints with Oakland and Kansas City. A Miami native, DiNardo has been a NESN analyst since 2017 and joined the WEEI booth in 2025. He is also a licensed realtor in Rhode Island.

ROB BRADFORD
joined WEEI full-time in 2008 and helped launch WEEI.com after serving as a Red Sox beat writer for the Boston Herald and Eagle-Tribune (Lawrence, Mass.). Prior to manning the Sox beat, Rob spent several years at the Lowell Sun. He is currently the host of a national Audacy podcast, Baseball Isn’t Boring in addition to his Red Sox coverage for WEEI.

COOPER BOARDMAN
made his MLB broadcasting debut in 2025 after a few seasons with the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox. A Syracuse grad, Cooper can be heard during the WEEI Red Sox Radio Network pregame/postgame shows as well.

JOE WEIL
is a pregame/postgame host for WEEI, in addition to a CBS Boston digital host. A Boston University grad, Joe also broadcasts for various college across New England, as well as the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox.

 

The broadcast of each game starts 1 hour before first pitch.
