Cole Expected to Get Much More than Strasburg

The Baseball Winter Meetings are going on right now in San Diego and free agent pitcher Stephen Strasburg has started them off with a bang, signing a seven-year, $245 million contract to remain with the Nationals.

Strasburg, 31, went 18-6 last year and helped the Nationals win the World Series. This is a record-breaking deal, surpassing the previous free agent pitcher high of David Price, who got seven years and $217 million from the Red Sox.

What should this deal do for the Gerrit Cole market, of which the Yankees are expected to be very much involved in?

Would you make this deal, Yankees fans?
