Controversial Calls Highlight Pats Loss to Chiefs (VIDEO)

The New England Patriots lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday by a score of 23-16.

The loss has huge ramifications for the Patriots, who now fall to 10-3 on the season. The loss keeps the Patriots away from the opportunity to have the first-round bye in the AFC playoffs and keeps them only one game ahead of the Bills in the AFC East.

Tom Brady failed to put up big stats yet again, going just 19-36 for 169 yards with a touchdown and an interception and the team rushed for just 94 yards in total, but the real story of the game ended up being controversial calls and no-calls in the game.

And more specifically, the controversy was partly centered around these three plays:

1) N’Keal Harry was ruled out of bounds here at the 3-yard line. The Patriots were out of challenges and couldn’t challenge the spot, and then ended up only getting a field goal out of it.

2) This fumble was blown dead and Stephon Gilmore wasn’t allowed to pick it up and gain significant yardage.

3) And then Phillip Dorsett was not given any kind of call here late in the fourth quarter:

We’ll discuss more on ‘The Huddle’ from 3-6 PM.
