The Plattsburgh men’s basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16 at the Division III level and they will travel to Swarthmore College on Friday a battle that will determine which team heads to the Elite 8.
The 24-4 Cardinals have won 21 games in a row behind the play of talented big man Johnathan Patron, who scored 39 points and had 18 rebounds in the 2nd round of the tournament.
We were joined in studio on Wednesday by Brian Gloyd, the Voice of the Cardinals basketball, who talked with us about the matchup and then talked about the women’s hockey program, which is set to take on Middlebury in the D-III women’s NCAA Tournament also.
