After already hearing that five Patriots would opt-out of the NFL season ahead, safety Patrick Chung is also electing to opt-out, according to reports.
Patriots safety Patrick Chung tells me that he plans to opt out of the 2020 season. He is the sixth Patriots player to do so.

Chung becomes the sixth, joining stalwarts Dont’a Hightower, Brandon Bolden and Marcus Cannon, as well as fullback Danny Vitale and OL Najee Toran. Chung has played 10 years in New England, helping them win three Super Bowls and he has 11 career interceptions.
Pat Chung is another player with a child on the way. He too has chosen to opt out of the season. That makes 6 #Patriots choosing to sit out that we are aware of so far.
