After being postponed from May to October, the Vermont City Marathon has now been canceled for 2020.

The race, which usually takes place over Memorial Day Weekend, will now take place that same weekend in 2021 as a way to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
From the article above, organizers said this:
“After consultations with state officials, it’s clear that a large public event with several thousand people will not be possible, even in late October,” organizers wrote in a release. “While we are saddened to report this news, we understand the decision and respect that safety comes first.”
