Though he spoke highly of his short term in New York, former Yankees OF Andrew McCutchen said he would like to see the Yankees policy of not allowing long hair or thick beards changed.

“I definitely do think it takes away from our individualism as players and as people,” McCutchen told Jensen Karp on “The Sports Bubble” podcast. “We express ourselves in different ways.”
McCutchen was traded to the Yankees from the Giants in the 2018 season and spent a few months in New York.
““I feel like maybe there should be some change there in the future — who knows when — but it’s just one of the many things in this game that I feel that there just needs … it needs to be talked about, and to be addressed.”
But again, he did say that playing for the Yankees was a dream come true that he could have never imagined.
