In 2008, a 37-year-old Kurt Warner led the Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl, a Super Bowl in which they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He writes:
“I was able to return to form, playing at a Pro Bowl level and reaching the Super Bowl once more,” Warner wrote at NFL.com. “Knowing Cam’s track record and the competitor that lies within him, I would not be surprised if he once again rose to the top of the league.”
Warner threw 30 touchdowns and 14 interceptions that season as the Cardinals went 9-7 and went on a magical run through the playoffs, beating the Falcons, Panthers and Eagles in the playoffs.
