While this doesn’t effect our area too much, it could be a sign of things to come for local Division III schools like Norwich, Plattsburgh, Castleton, Middlebury, Johnson and Lyndon, all of which can play RPI in all of its sports (except hockey).
And then we see this at the Division I level, which has a direct impact on the University of Vermont:

For reference: UVM men’s soccer played three non-league games last year against MAAC schools (Iona, Siena and Quinnipiac).
