Patriots running back Sony Michel is recovering from a surgical procedure on his foot, per ESPNs Mike Reiss. He had the surgery in May.

Reiss that the procedure was designed as “maintenance” to help alleviate discomfort that Michel was feeling in his foot. He’s dealt with injuries throughout his Patriots tenure, but has only missed three games in his two-year career so far.

Reiss reports that Michel could start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform List.
