Things are getting contentious between the Major League Baseball owners and Players Association when it comes to getting back on the field and the finances of it all.
Red Sox OF Kevin Pillar, a longtime MLB veteran was interacting with some twitter users on Wednesday about the plight of the players in all this:
Please don’t considering me flying around the country, interacting with many people everyday, and just wanting to come home to my wife and kids praying the don’t get sick. No risk on my end. Or just don’t see my family &explain to my 2 year old baseball and work is more important https://t.co/Z3wahXs475

Pillar also said that he thinks the contract that was signed between the players association and owners in March should be honored:
That doesn’t make any sense. Why honor a contract or an agreement? https://t.co/j2wcZE8hKc
