The University of Vermont men’s hockey program is still looking to fill out its staff under new head coach Todd Woodcroft.
Last week we reported that UVM was talking to as many as six names about the position — and we had three of the names.
And today we get this:
Source tells me that Paul Kirtland of Sacred Heart is NOT a finalist for the UVM men's hockey assistant job.
Had reported last week he was one of six candidates they were talking to.
Still waiting to finalize Todd Woodcroft's staff.

Kirtland was mentioned as one of the six names overall, but it’s not clear if he was a serious contender who dropped out or simply didn’t advance in the process – or only ever had lukewarm interest.
Woodcroft will enter his first-year in Burlington after spending the last few years with the Winnipeg Jets.
