Our early takeaways:
1) It’s interesting to note that the Giants don’t open up with the Cowboys, which we had been predicting they would be based on other schedule leaks.
2) You have to like the Giants first two matchups of the year, which seem winnable vs. Pittsburgh and @Chicago.
3) The Giants have a brutal last two games of the year, against Baltimore and Dallas.
4) It’s disappointing to get the Eagles on a short week after the Redskins, you’d like to see a full week of prep for a tough divisional opponent. It’s also tough to see the Bengals after the bye, as you’d have to think they could have had the bye and two weeks of prep before a tougher team.
We’ll have more on ‘The Huddle’ from 3-6 PM.
