After all the speculation about free agent QBs like Jameis Winston and Cam Newton, could the Patriots end up landing on Andy Dalton after all?
The Jaguars and Patriots are among the teams interested in Andy Dalton, per a source.

The Bengals released the QB on Thursday, giving teams the opportunity to sign the 9-year veteran.
Andy Dalton finishes his Bengals leader as the all-time leader in passing TD (204), 2nd in passing yards (31,594), most 4th quarter comebacks (20) and game-winning drives (24), three Pro Bowl nods and helped dig them out of the dumps to five playoff appearances. Really solid run.

Despite that success overall, it hasn’t been great for Dalton recently:
Andy Dalton started off strong in Cincy, as he was 1 of 3 QBs (Tom Brady; Aaron Rodgers) to win 50+ games from 2011 to 2015.
But since 2016, his .366 win percentage ranks 37th among 39 QBs with at least 20 starts in that span.
