After being shut down on Thursday, Yankees pitcher Luis Severino is going to fly back to New York to undergo testing to diagnose his “forearm soreness.”
The injury, which dates back to last season apparently is of worry for a Yankees rotation that has already lost James Paxton and Domingo German for a matter of months each.

The good news for Yankees fans is that Severino has already had two MRIs and a CT scan come back negative.
He made just three starts last year after battling injuries all season. He’s in the second year of a four-year deal that was signed a season ago.
