Joyce Mitchell, the prison seamstress who helped Richard Matt and David Sweat escape from Clinton Correctional Facility in 2015, has been released today from prison.
She had been serving her sentence in Bedford, NY.

She served four years of a possible seven year span and the conditions of her parole are not yet know.
The manhunt for Sweat and Matt in 2015 cost taxpayers more than $23 million.
