Former Red Sox IF and current WEEI radio host Lou Merloni shed some light on Monday about the MLB investigation into Boston’s supposed illegal sign stealing during the 2018 season, saying that the league hasn’t reached out to Alex Cora yet about what happened in Boston.

This would be fairly consistent with what we’ve heard so far, as the team said it only parted ways with Cora as manager because of what happened in Houston, and they weren’t going to wait to see what happened in Boston.
Merloni also says that the investigation into the Red Sox hasn’t turned up much thus far:

"They think they are good. They think they didn't do it … they don't think [MLB is] gonna come back with any [evidence of wrongdoing]."
