Edelman played through a sprained AC joint and appeared hobbled by that injury, knee issues and a rib problem since Week 3. Despite the discomfort, he had 100 catches to lead the team for more than 1,000 yards.
The Patriots went 12-4 and earned the No. 3 seed but lost in the the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
