Speaking one day after his Patriots were eliminated by the Tennessee Titans, Pats head coach Bill Belichick called Tom Brady an “iconic” figure in the Patriots organization but added that contracts are not simply a one-way street.
Brady, 42, will be a free agent for the first time and the speculation this offseason will all center around his standing in the organization.

The Patriots went 12-4 this season but failed to secure the first-round bye for the first time since 2009. Brady is not the only major free agent they have: that list also includes Kyle Van Noy, Matthew Slater, Devin McCourty, Joe Thuney and more.
