The University of Vermont men’s basketball team (5-2) has secured another transfer from a good program, landing 6-3 guard Justin Mazzulla from George Washington.
The junior had appeared in four games this year for the Colonials, scoring averaging five points. How those appearances impact his timeline for appearing in a UVM uniform are not known yet, but you’d have to imagine he’s out the rest of the season for UVM and would be ruled eligible next season.

He averaged 8.9 ppg last year and played in 33 games for former Catamount star Maurice Joseph, who was the head coach last year.
The addition of Mazzulla could help soften the loss of Anthony Lamb, who will graduate after the season, as well as Everett Duncan, who will do the same.
