Monday was a great day for UVM graduate Martin St. Louis as the hockey star was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Toronto.
St. Louis was very complimentary of his time at Vermont, mentioning his old coaching staff and mentioning how he met his wife at Vermont.
But some people (our own Brady Farkas namely) were surprised that he didn’t mention his longtime friend and Catamount teammate Eric Perrin in his speech.
But St. Louis made amends for that on social media on Wednesday:
I got side tracked and skipped a paragraph that mention my longtime friend Eric Perrin. Eric was an outstanding player and friend and the 13 years before I turned pro he was my centerman and was real good at it. He deserved to be in that speech and I wanted not only him but

Perrin scored 256 career points at Vermont, trailing St. Louis by just 11 in his career. He also helped UVM get to the Frozen Four in 1995-1996.
