After winning the World Series and winning a Red Sox regular season record 108 games, the team has announced a new contract with manager Alex Cora.
Red Sox announce they've agreed to new terms on a contract for Alex Cora, including a one-year extension through the 2021 season, with a club option for 2022. His original contract was signed through 2020 with a club option for 2021.

Cora will get the additional year and will likely get a pay raise, per McCaffrey. She reports that Cora was given just an $800,000 a year salary when he first started.
