Red Sox Announce Extension For Cora

After winning the World Series and winning a Red Sox regular season record 108 games, the team has announced a new contract with manager Alex Cora.

Cora will get the additional year and will likely get a pay raise, per McCaffrey. She reports that Cora was given just an $800,000 a year salary when he first started.

Regardless of what you think about the importance of a Major League manager, that seems awfully low. We’ll discuss more tomorrow on ‘The Huddle’ from 3-6 LIVE from the Mill River Brewing Company in St. Albans.
