The Boston Red Sox are headed to the World Series, thanks in part to the pitching performance of David Price in Game 5 of the ALCS.
Price tossed six scoreless innings on three days rest, striking out nine batters in one of the most potent lineups in baseball.
It was Price’s first win in the playoffs as a starter in his career, having previously gone 0-9 in that role.

Given Price’s salary of more than $215 million total, and given his struggles in the games that matter most, he has become a poster child for hate among Boston fans.
