On Thursday it was announced that Ichiro Suzuki would be transitioning from the role of player to front office member for the Seattle Mariners. He isn’t officially retiring but at age 44, it seems like Ichiro is done, or maybe he’ll just get a sentimental farewell when the Mariners play in Japan next season.
Our own Brady Farkas, lifelong Mariners fan, had to take a few minutes on ‘Champlain Valley Game Night’ to thank Ichiro for what he did in Seattle and to acknowledge some of the memories that he gave him.
