On Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Rangers third baseman and former Red Sox third baseman Adrian Beltre collected his 3000th career hit. Beltre is the 31st member of the 3,000 hit club and is the first player from the Dominican Republic to accomplish the feat.

Beltre spent one year in Boston (2010), hitting .321 and leading the league in doubles with 49. He also hit 28 homers and drove in more than 100 that year. His offensive numbers and is amazing defense at third make Beltre a sure-fire Hall of Famer in the next few years.
