Leigh Steinberg is one of the original sports agents — and he’s one of the most famous. Have you ever seen the movie Jerry McGuire? The Tom Cruise character is based on Steinberg’s life.
He joined us today on ‘Champlain Valley Game Night’ to talk about what how free agent negotiations begin and come to fruition. He also spoke with us about the plight of an agent who represents multiple players at the same position on the same team (IE Don Yee with Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo), how involved he is making sure his players act a certain way off the field and much more.
