The Red Sox acquired one of the top pitchers in the game this offseason, netting ace left-hander Chris Sale from the White Sox.
The Red Sox also got reliever Tyler Thornburg from the Brewers in another good move.
But to get those players, the Sox traded four of the top 10 prospects in their system and sent the No. 1 prospect in the game to the White Sox for Sale (Yoan Moncada).
