After acquiring Chris Sale on Tuesday, the Red Sox look to be clear possible favorites for a spot in the American League playoffs and look to be possible World Series contenders.
And while most of baseball took notice of the Sox moves on Tuesday, one guy who is supposed to be out of baseball also took notice: David Ortiz. Big Papi put on instagram “…you guys got me thinking” leading some to speculate as to whether or not Ortiz may consider unretiring and coming back to Boston.
Well we asked our ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney today if he thought there was any truth to that and what might prompt Ortiz to send that out on social media.
Buster also talked about the Sox rotation, the biggest surprises at the Winter Meetings and what moves are going to happen next.
