If you’re a baseball fan, there’s no better time in the offseason than the Winter Meetings. It’s where several big deals get done, massive trades get thrown around and it’s where your team has the best chance to improve before heading to Spring Training.
The Winter Meetings are underway in Maryland this week and several big names have already been linked to cities. Closer Mark Melancon has signed a four-year deal with the San Francisco Giants while utilityman Steve Pearce has signed a two-year deal with the Toronto Blue Jays.
