Earlier today, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith said that he doesn’t think Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time because he’s lost two Super Bowls, and instead thinks that Joe Montana, who is a perfect 4-0 in Super Bowls, is the best because of his perfect record.
That’s one point of view, but I disagree. I think it’s a huge accomplishment to get to the Super Bowl and that Brady should not penalized for having two setbacks — because he still has four championship rings.
He may also pass Montana as early as this year.

If, and it’s a big if, Brady is not the greatest of all-time it stems from the way the game is played. Brady is able to put up more stats and bigger numbers and play for a longer period of time because the league’s defenses have been so watered down as Brady’s gotten older, but that still doesn’t mean that it’s been an easy road for Brady during his career.
I think Brady is the greatest ever, and if he’s not, it’s because he has two SB losses.
