All week long we’ve been scratching our heads and wondering why Jamie Collins was traded from the Patriots to the Browns. CBSsports.com perhaps has some further perspective…
This Jamie Collins quote might provide insight into why Bill Belichick traded him – https://t.co/8YWtYT4QKi https://t.co/JPUNKsHkd3

According to the article, when Collins was asked about watching pro/college football:
“Neither. I didn’t grow up watching football, and I still don’t. Me and Chandler Jones have talked about this since I first got up here. I never watched football. I never thought I’d be here, and I’d rather play video games. I don’t really want to watch it.”
It is interesting to note that both Collins and Jones have now been traded. I still think the money has a lot to do with it because both were impending free agents and the Patriots simply don’t want to shell out that much money to certain players.
But Belichick is the king of watching film and studying tape and maybe, if Collins didn’t enjoy that, maybe that’s why he’s not in New England anymore.
